Immunotherapy
Treatments intended to stimulate the immune system to combat a disease.
Masson – Medical dictionary: Immunotherapy is a treatment method that consists in modifying the immune reactions of the organism:
- by stimulating them in a general way or by orienting them to target an antigen,
- or by correcting them when they are diseased,
- or by suppressing them, for example, to avoid the rejection of a graft.
